Discover Lech and our beautiful alpine world on one of our bikes. Mountain bikes are available to you free of charge. In exchange for a fixed service charge, you can reserve one of our e-bikes at reception on the evening before your tour. Lech offers a range of possibilities – there's a route for everyone, from seasoned cyclists to casual bikers.

RElaxed E-Bike Tour

Enjoy a ride on an e-bike and experience the alpine world of Lech like you've never seen it before.

Take a bike ride through the beautiful Zuger Tal valley to the Formarinsee lake – and enjoy a cup of coffee at Freiburger Hütte. Then it's off to Spullersee lake for a lunch break at Ravensburger Hütte – we're certain you'll be impressed.

Our e-bikes can be rented for a small fee.

Bike & Hike Tours

Mohnenfluh summit

Intermediate route, approx. 4.5 hours
Bike: You take the route via Schlegelkopf to Oberlech, passing the Oberlech cable car and the sky space up until you reach the mountain station of the Petersboden chair lift. From here you follow the path up to the Kriegeralpe hut, where you park your bike.
Hike: The hike starts in the direction of Steinmähder and leads you up through some serpentines to the Mohnenfluh saddle. Take a moment to look at the breath-taking view over lake Butzensee and the surrounding peaks. The path continues up to the Mohnenfluh peak.
For the way back you keep on the same path all the way to Kriegeralpe hut, which is also a lovely spot to have some lunch.
Bike: Take the bike back on the same path to Lech.

Spuller Schafberg summit

Hard route, approx. 5.5 hours
Bike: With your e-bike you start on the street towards Zug and keep going past Gasthof Älpele. When you reach the crossing, you take the left path towards lake Supllersee. When you reach the lake, you take the path on the right hand side of the lake and go around it until you reach Ravensburger hut, where you park your bike.
Hike: The hike starts at the sun terrace of the hut and is signed in blue. You pass some small streams going west, then the steepness increases going through mountain meadows to a wide saddle. On a narrow path, mostly directly along the ridge, and via a rocky ledge you will reach the peak. Surefootedness is required for this path. Take the same way back to the hut.
Bike: Take the same way back through the Zuger valley.

Around the Formaletsch

Medium route, approx. 4.5 hours
Bike: Through the Zuger valley, past the houses of Zug and the Gasthof Älpele, you stay on the same street. At the crossing, take the right street towards lake Formarinsee. Behind the u-turn for the buses, you will find a parking spot, where you can park your car.
Hike: You pass the ibex statue and along the path through blooming meadows of the Formaletsch. Later, the path turns right towards Steinernes Meer. Worth seeing are the many fossils along the path. Later you will pass the Freiburger hut and lake formarinsee until you reach your e-bike.
Bike: The street through the Zuger valley will lead you back to Lech.

Alpsee Lake

Easy route, approx. 3.5 hours
Bike: The tour starts directly at the hotel, taking the Zuger street to Zug and passing the toll booth as well as the Gasthof Älpele towards lake Spullersee. Go around lake Spullersee and park your bike at Ravensburger hut.
Hike: The hike starts directly at the hut in the direction of Brazer Stafel. It continues past a small stream up until the approach of Roggalspitze peak, where to turn right towards lake Alpsee. Take the same path back.
Bike: Take the same path back passing lake Spullersee and through the Zuger valley back to Lech.

Skyspace - Auenfeld hut -
Körbersee lake

Medium route, approx. 3.5 hours
Bike: Take the bike towards Oberlech, from there you turn towards Skyspace. It's worth a break - take some time to have a look around at the marvelous mountain view. Afterwards, keep going via Gaisbühelalpe to Auenfelder hut, where you can park your bike.
Hike: Along the Auenfeld you will keep going on this easy hiking path, until you turn right to lake Körbersee. For the was back it's possible to take an alternative route via Salober saddle.
Bike: Take the same way back via Skyspace back to Lech.

Butzensee lake

Medium route, approx. 4.5 hours
Bike: You take the route via Schlegelkopf to Oberlech, passing the Oberlech cable car and the sky space up until you reach the mountain station of the Petersboden chair lift. From here you follow the path up to the Kriegeralpe hut, where you park your bike.
Hike: The hike starts in the direction of Steinmähder and leads you up through some serpentines, where you take the path going to the left. It takes you along the mountain side towards lake Butzensee. For the way back you can alternatively walk up to Mohnenfluh saddle and come back to Kriegeralpe hut from there. 
Bike: Take the bike back on the same path to Lech.
